Job Description

Looking to level up? Quantifind is hiring a Mid DevOps Engineer (Linux) in Palo Alto, CA, US. The position offers deep exposure to modern cloud architectures and production environments. Apply via the company link below for full details and next steps. ### **Who You Are** You embrace the ethic of "infrastructure as code" to provide consistency and security for both data center and IT deployments. You deliver solutions that are scalable, maintainable and follow the ethos of "cattle, not pets." You hold yourself and your teammates to a high standard when writing clean, performant, and maintainable code for deployments and configuration management. You enjoy finding new ways to improve the design, performance, and testing of the systems and services that you deploy and operate. You work well with cross\-functional teams that include platform engineers, data scientists, security engineers and product managers. You care deeply about your work and its impact on your team's productivity. You have a great work ethic and are able to take on major projects from start to finish, collaborating with other engineers. You value the security of a company with a proven business model. On a personal note, you are fun to work with; you maintain a positive attitude throughout the Agile Sprint cycle. ### **Who We Are** Quantifind helps some of the world's biggest banks catch money laundering and fraud. Quantifind also works with government agencies to use the same platform to uncover criminal networks and combat money laundering committed by internationally sanctioned entities. Unlike other players in this space, Quantifind delivers results as software\-as\-a\-service (SaaS) with consumer\-grade user experiences. Quantifind is a data science technology company whose AI platform uncovers signals of risk across disparate and unstructured text sources. In financial crimes risk management, Quantifind's solution uniquely combines internal financial institution data with public domain data to assess risk in the context of Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Fraud Risk Management, and Anti\-Money Laundering (AML) processes. Today these compliance processes are burdened by ever\-increasing regulatory responsibilities and an expectation of frictionless transactions. Legacy technologies demand increasingly more human resources as the operations expand; Quantifind's SaaS solution offers a way to cut through the inefficiency and enhance effectiveness simultaneously. To help you succeed, we provide a supportive environment that fosters collaboration between teams and team members, where learning and professional growth are considered a key part of your success, and of ours. About this role

DevOps engineers bridge development and operations: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and reliability. Experience with Linux, scripting, containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and at least one cloud provider is common. Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or similar, plus logging and metrics (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana), is valuable. Understanding of security (secrets, least privilege) and on-call practices is important.

Common Interview Questions for this Role

  • CI vs CD?

CI is building and testing on every change. CD extends that to automatically deploying when tests pass.

  • How do you manage secrets in pipelines?

Use a secrets manager. Never commit secrets; inject at runtime from a secure store.

  • Blue-green vs canary?

Blue-green: two environments, switch traffic at once. Canary: roll out to a small subset first, then increase.

Salary range

₹125000+ / month
