Infotainment Engineer

職務内容／Job duties As an infotainment expert in our team, you assume ownership for a set of infotainment functions – e.g., navigation, entertainment, localization, or speech – for the Japanese market across the varied brands of the Volkswagen Group. You accompany your functions along the product development process on the German side and have a part to play from conceptualization through implementation up to verification and function release. Responsibilities: 1\) Bringing functions from customer\-ready to customer\-loved As a European carmaker, most of our infotainment functions are first developed by teams in Europe. However, Japanese customers’ expectations and needs may differ from those of European ones. Your primary job objective is to ensure a tailor\-made product that Japanese customers love! 2\) Acting as the primary point of contact for Japan market\-related questions for headquarter stakeholders When it comes to your functions, you will be the technical expert people come to.
